Today, things got real. I had a marketing coordination meeting for my internship at CollegeCon and realized how little I’ve done and how much I need to do in not very much time. It was awesome.
So, I went home, created some content, and started a Facebook and Instagram campaign.
I also continued to work on my digital illustration piece, but didn’t completely finish. I drew a bike and some leaves, so there is that.
I have a problem. I would say that it’s nothing major, but it probably is.
I can’t wake up early.
Now, that seems like a problem for just about every teenager, right? We need more sleep, we’re growing, we’re very active, so naturally when the alarm goes off it’s hard to not hit the snooze button.
This is particularly frustrating for me because I have been able to wake up early in the past quite consistently. Every weekday at 5:00 am, in fact. But lately, I just haven’t been able to do it and it’s been messing up my routine. Ideally, I would go to bed at 9:00 pm and wake up at 5:00 am to exercise. Well, I can get the bedtime down pat, but waking up is still harder than your Midwestern grandma’s cellar full of cider.
I feel like I’m missing so much time that I could use for exercise and learning. I’m not sure how to fix it. I think I’ll sleep on it.
