Wait, I can explain.
Last Tuesday I did essentially nothing because I was sick all day. Last Thursday I had a marketing coordination meeting and then I got a large envelope from a certain religious organization headquartered in Salt Lake City.
I have been called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Arizona, Tempe mission for 24 months. I will be speaking English (but will probably end up learning Spanish) and will be leaving June 14th. Don’t ask me why it’s the Arizona, Tempe mission and not the Tempe, Arizona mission because I have no idea.
CollegeCon is this Saturday, so that means today I had to do some last minute preparations. I designed some social media posts and created a social media contest. I also wrote and practiced a short speech that I am going to give at CollegeCon. If you have ever wanted to hear me read one of my cheeky blog posts, that’s basically what my speech is. I’ll be signing autographs afterward.
I also watched a lot of TED talks about public speaking today, which isn’t super exciting to write about so you can watch them instead.
This is hilarious. You’re welcome.
