Grant Achatz is a world-renowned chef and an innovator in the kitchen. He is the co-owner of Alinea, a restaurant in Chicago with three Michelin stars.
Achatz is creative, but refined. I designed this editorial to reflect both of those sides. Throughout the editorial, several dishes from the Alinea Group are featured, giving the viewer a visual taste of what the high class restaurant serves.
Additionally, I included a motif of wooden utensils, signifying the relative simplicity of making beautiful food. Red color blocks are featured overlaying images, communicating the power that Achatz has in the kitchen.
